Shannon Reeder
Shannon Reeder, a 500 hour yoga teacher, began practicing yoga in 2006, and it has been an essential part of her life ever since. She felt an instant connection to the spaciousness that came along with her first class, and she soon found a regular practice made a difference off the mat as well, influencing the way she perceived and interacted with the world. Shannon knew early on that yoga was a system she wanted to live, practice and understand on a deeper level.
She is a 500-hour certified Prana Vinyasa yoga teacher, having had the honor of studying directly with Prana Vinyasa creator and curator, Shiva Rea, as well as affiliates from her Global School of Living Yoga. Shannon has taken additional trainings in Kids Yoga, Supported Yoga, Yoga for Seniors and Yoga for 12 Step Recovery.
Living and teaching in San Pedro, Belize on the island of Ambergris Caye, Shannon is thrilled to be a part of Rhythms of Change, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting and implementing activities that bring forth individual, social and environmental changes throughout Belize. She serves as an ambassador for the organization and is committed to offering yoga and meditation as tools for improving the lives of the people she has the privilege of teaching.
Shannon’s classes offer a welcoming environment, with modifications for all levels so each student, from beginner to advanced yogi, can find their perfect place to connect to their natural, evolutionary flow.
