Rayanna Schnarr (Belize / USA)
Rayanna Schnarr is a Belizean positive psychologist, philanthropist and yoga teacher.
Rayanna earned a Masters in Applied Positive Psychology and Coaching Psychology London, UK at the University of East London, and uses her knowledge of psychology to inform her yoga teachings.
She has experience as positive psychology group therapist for adolescents in a residential treatment.
She began her yogic journey in Princeton NJ at the Princeton Center for Yoga and Health in 2015, where she completed her 200hr Yoga teacher Training. She followed up on her studies in NYC where she completed her 500 hr Registered Yoga Teacher Training at Sonic yoga NYC. She is registered through yoga alliance.
She works as the Executive Director of Rhythm of Change (RoC) Belize, a non-profit which serves some of the most vulnerable populations around Belize including prisons, youth hostels, schools and orphanages.
Through her work with RoC she has created a course in self development to improve personal and professional wellbeing. The course will be used as CPE hours for teachers across all districts through the Ministry of Education, as well as inner city community hubs as training for program leaders.
She is currently pursuing her doctorate degree in clinical psychology from Alliant University in San Diego, California.
